Welcome Home!

The Branch Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

What To Expect

Weekend Services

Come as you are.  You can dress up or wear jeans and a t-shirt.  Our weekend services are generally 75 minutes long.  The services primarily feature worship and a lesson. We also serve communion every week, and open up time for prayer towards the end of each service. We have a kids program available during each of the services.  Donuts and coffee are provided on Sunday mornings.

Every service begins with a time of praise and worship in song. Our church LOVES to sing!  We even have a service where our music doesn't include instruments (9:00 am on Sundays at Farmers Branch.)  The rest of our services feature a modern contemporary style with high-impact drums and electric guitars.  We believe that music is one of the most powerful ways of communing with God.  Our prayer is that you experience the presence of the Holy Spirit and are brought closer to God during this time.

Our sermons typically follow the worship time and are usually brought by our Lead Pastor, Chris Seidman.  Because we are one church in two locations, Chris alternates between campuses each week. When he is not in person at your campus, his sermon will be presented on life-sized HD video screens.

Branch Kids runs the length of each service on Sundays and check-in opens 15 minutes before each service begins. After checking your children in at one of our kiosks, you will escort them to their age-appropriate class room where they are greeted by our designated classroom leaders. Your kids will love participating in large group activities and small group lessons where they can find each other, find some friends, and find God!

Branch Youth (6th - 12th grade) meets in a variety of ways.  Our age-specific Branch Groups meet weekly at both campuses. Our students also get a chance to have fun while growing closer together, and to God, through several events throughout the year such as Branch Camp, service days, overnighters, camp outs, and other special events.

What Next?

Whether it's finding a Branch Group to engage with, or finding a place to serve at The Branch, the best way to get plugged-in is to attend one of our Branch Orientation classes.  These classes are offered every other month or so and are designed to give you a snapshot of the church, offer membership, and get you connected to others.

Some tips for visiting the Farmers Branch campus

  • We have a full brunch between our two Sunday morning services at Farmers Branch.  Some members who also happen to be amazing chefs serve the church in the Family Life Center every Sunday.  Don't miss this time of good food and fellowship from 10:15-10:40 am.
  • Do you or a friend speak Spanish?  Check out The Branch Español service that meets in our Family Life Center at 10:45 on Sundays.  This service includes worship, a message from our Minestro Hispaño Luis Sanchez, and prayer time.
  • Our two Sunday morning services are nearly identical in structure, with the main difference being the content of the worship time. The 9:00 am service is "voices only" for worship time.  Don't miss this unique experience! The 10:45 am service features a modern contemporary style with drums and electric guitars.
  • Do you have kids to check in on Sunday?  Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before service begins.  This will give you time to complete the brief registration we require for kids check in.  It will help you to park close to the west side of the building where our kids wing is located.

The Branch Church • Vista Ridge

Some tips for visiting the Vista Ridge campus

  • We are currently in process of building a new Kids wing, lobby, kitchen, and main restrooms and remodeling the south wing of the building into a fellowship hall and Youth space.  Obviously, there are growing pains associated with this process and we're all being as flexible as we can.  Construction and remodeling is estimated to be completed in mid-2020.
  • Do you have middle school student?  Our middle school youth ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am.  Until we have our new Youth space built, our middle school students are meeting in a large room towards the back of our office area.  There are signs posted and check-in stations in the office reception area.  Just follow the long hallway until you get to the Youth room.
  • Thursday nights are the first service of the weekend?  We realize the weekend can be busy.  Maybe you have to work on Sunday morning or maybe your kids have sports or other activities.  At Vista Ridge, we have a service on Thursday nights starting at 6:45 pm that is intended to be just like our Sunday services.
  • Do you have kids to check in on Sunday?  Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before service begins.  This will give you time to complete the brief registration we require for kids check in.  It will help you to park close to the west side of the building where our kids wing is located.
